Google se concentreaza din ce in ce mai mult pe monetizarea Youtube-ului. Gaudi (google audio indexing) cauta cuvinte vorbite in clip si lasa utilizatorul sa sara la momentul in care cuvantul cautat este spus. Proiectul pare a fi o solutie foarte buna de a oferi reclame contextuale. Problema aici este ca google nu poate monetiza clipurile embedded (cu ceva timp in urma au aparut zvonuri care spuneau ca youtube facea in asa fel incat aceste filmulete sa nu mearga la fel de bine cum merg pe situ lor ). O posibila solutie au gasit cei de la Innovid, care dezvolta o tehnologie ce permite interactionarea cu filmuletul, adaugarea de hotspoturi, etc. Ramane sa vedem cum prinde product placementul in astfel de clipuri.
